// Scanning

Scanning and digitization of business documentation enable immediate access to high-quality digital formats, often covering extensive amounts of paper records in varying conditions of preservation. This approach greatly enhances storage, communication, and searchability of the entire content of scanned documentation (electronic document archiving and specifically business document archiving), providing a significant competitive advantage for organizations practicing modern cost, time, and business efficiency management.

Arquivo offers the most advanced solutions in this field—digitization is performed on ultra-fast color/black-and-white Kodak scanners, recognized as world-class technology for transferring archival materials into digital format. These devices stand out for their professional image quality, consistent contrast, the ability to enhance barely visible text and low-resolution images (with options like Thresholding, Color Dropout, and AutoCrop for working with damaged documents), as well as high-quality microfilm recording.

Currently, the ARQUIVO.AO scanning center can process up to 150,000 scanned files per day, along with microfilming at the same volume, also using the most advanced Kodak devices (microfilm printers). An additional feature is qualified signing and time stamping of scanned documents, ensuring the legal validity of the electronic document copies. We can increase our scanning capacity based on demand, and we also offer on-site scanning at client locations.
